Maybe this four-legged visitor felt like a quick walk on a mild winter day, or maybe it knew that Madison's bravest for a lost pup. At any rate, this black, shaggy visitor named Pepper was found wandering around by the midday Wednesday. A quick Nixle shout-out brought a phone call from a local mail carrier, who had been asked by a Keep Street resident to keep an eye out. A few hours later, Pepper and family were reunited. "A great team effort," said Chief Lou DeRosa.
