The annual Madison Green Fair returns Thursday outside the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts.

The fifth annual event will run from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will close Green Village Road between Main Street and Kings Road. The rain date is Friday.

Sponsored by the Madison Environmental Commission and Madison Boy Scout Troop 25, the fair will feature educational exhibits, vendors, music and refreshments.

The theme for the 2014 fair is "spring cleaning" with exhibits featuring environmentally friendly products for indoor and outdoor use, energy efficiency, transportation, waste and recycling, water conservation and food.

There will be a demonstration on safe cleaning products. There will also be free tours of Madison's Passive Solar House and energy-efficient cars and lawnmowers on display.
