Madison Area YMCA Volunteer Annual Campaign Celebration!

The Madison Area YMCA and its Annual Campaign volunteers celebrated the 2014 Annual Campaign during a festive celebration that recognized the milestone achievement of reaching more than 92% of the campaign's $286,000 goal in six weeks of active campaigning through the outstanding efforts of 80 volunteer campaigners and 578 donors. The 2014 Annual Campaign is gratefully accepting donations through May 8.

Funds donated to the Annual Campaign make a significant impact in our community - giving young children the best possible start in their early childhood education at the F.M. Kirby Children's Center and opening doors for low-income families, seniors, adults, teens and children who need the health-sustaining programs offered at the Family Center. Support is provided based on demonstrated need, with the goal that no one be turned away from membership, services or programs as a result of an inability to pay.

The Madison Area YMCA, a dynamic charity right here in our neighborhood that helps more people in our community than many realize, is so much more.  It's more than a place. It's a cause. From exercise to education, from volleyball to volunteerism, from preschool to preventive health, the Y doesn't just strengthen bodies – the Y strengthens community. Donations to the Y’s cause are gratefully accepted throughout the year. To make a donation or for more information, visit madisonareaymca.org or call Madison Area YMCA Annual Fund Coordinator Leigh Anne Soroka at 973-822-9622 ext. 2232.
