Madison Area YMCA 2013 Charity Golf Classic local foursome champions, John Ahsler and Bill Booker of Chatham, Dan McAloon of Madison, and Todd Wood of Long Hill Township, are returning to defend their title and try to reclaim the championship trophy sponsored again by Wells Fargo Insurance Services. This year’s Charity Golf Classic takes place at the Morris County Golf Club on Monday, June 16.
Tournament Sponsor, Citi Global Markets, is graciously supporting the Charity Golf Classic for the third year as leading sponsor. Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Gary’s Wine & Marketplace, Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Frankoski Construction, The MCJ Amelior Foundation, Madison Honda and Andrew Boszhardt are also major sponsors of the charity tournament.

Ladies Clinic spots are still available for reservation with Golf Pro and instructor Karen Noble, who leads the Ladies Clinic and will teach chipping, fairway shots and putting in a highly individualized format. For a $200 donation, the package includes the clinic from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., beverages and the dinner reception and auctions, which start at 5:30 p.m. Dinner reservations are also still available for $125 donation per person, which includes the auctions.

Last year’s charity event funded 234 weeks of Madison Area YMCA summer camp in addition to providing YMCA financial assistance for local areas children and families for YMCA membership, programs and childcare. 100% of the proceeds from this year’s Charity Golf Classic will again make Y summer camp, membership, childcare and enriching YMCA programs available to children and families who require funding assistance to participate, helping to ensure that local children in need may attend YMCA day camps for structured, supervised learning, recreation and good, summer fun!
