Friday Football Game Includes Disease Research Fundraiser

Madison, Hackettstown high schools raising money for T.J. Martell Foundation.

Madison and Hackettstown high schools are collecting donations for the T.J. Martell Foundation Friday leading up to and during their 7 p.m. football game at Madison High School.

The foundation, which was founded by a Madison resident, supports research to fight leukemia, cancer and AIDS.

Every dollar donated gets a raffle ticket. Donated raffle prizes include a deluxe Sherwin Williams painter set, Saturday night accommodations for two at the historic Madison Hotel and Sunday brunch at Rod’s Steak and Seafood Grill, two autographed footballs signed by New York Jets Geno Smith and Dee Millner, four game tickets and other gifts for a Rutgers football game, a free weekend use of a brand new Honda from Madison Honda, and a grand prize of a custom painted and signed Epiphone guitar by the artist Lebo.

The T.J. Martell Foundation recently held its 19th walk-a-thon in Madison.
