Interested in learning the basics of Twitter?
"Twitter for Beginners" will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Madison Public Library, 39 Keep Street. The free program is open to the public. Registration is required. Call the library at 973-377-0722 ext. 2 to save a space.
Two library staff members will explain how to use the social network, which allows users to share short pieces of information instantly.
"Participants will learn how to build and customize their profile, read and send Twitter updates (tweets), and how to build an audience of followers," according to an announcement for the event.
