Drew University includes the College of Liberal Arts, the Drew Theological School, and Casperson School of Graduate Students. It was established in 1867 as seminary school. In 1928, a gift led to the College of Liberal Arts, which was originally all male. The university offers 55 areas of undergraduate studies. New Jersey's first "green dorm" opened at the university in 2009, and it was the first institution of its type to issue personal computers to all incoming students.
