 e Fenimore is a self-taught wood carver. &nbsp\;Ms. Fenimore enjoys find
 ing the whimsical while drawing on American historical figures. The whir
 ligig offers a simple and direct form of art to delight the eye while tw
 eaking the mind to consider these household images from a new perspectiv
 e. \nHer work is in the permanent collections of the Newark Museum (Newa
 rk\, NJ)\, American Museum of Folk Art (NYC)\, and the Smithsonian Insti
