PHOTOS: 450 Savor Taste of Madison
Annual fundraiser is expected to raise $40,000 for Downtown Development Commission, Chamber of Commerce and Madison Rotary.
More than 450 people attended the 11th annual Taste of Madison on Monday at the Park Avenue Club and the event, which serves as a fundraiser for the , and , was expected to raise more than $40,000 for those groups, organizers said.
"Great event, great causes, great people," said Gino Iossa of , which was one of about 30 restaurants and stores that showcased foods and wines at the event.
Iossa served zeppole and found people coming back four or five times for the pastries.

Gary Fisch of he thought the restaurants really stepped up this year with excellent dishes.
Madison resident Christina Jeffrey attended the event with two coworkers, Courtney McDaniel of Millburn and Debbie Brask of Denville, and they were debating which —red velvet, mint or ganache—was best.
