Police Allege Florham Park Man Exposed Himself

Drug, DWI arrests top Madison police blotter.

On Feb. 27 at 2:09 a.m., Patrolman Paul Papamarkos arrested 27-year-old Erik Frederickson of Florham Park and charged him with alleged public lewdness. Papamarkos was called to 95 Main Street on a report of a male exposing himself in front of the Nautilus Diner. He determined that Frederickson allegedly exposed himself to customers inside the diner by pulling his pants down. Frederickson was taken to headquarters for processing and released pending a mandatory court appearance.

On Feb. 26 at 4:40 a.m., Patrolman Kevin Boone arrested Gerado Garcia, 21, of Dover, N.J. He charged him with alleged possession of marijuana. Boone was assisting Sgt. Peter Iossa who was arresting a subject for DWI on Route 24. As he was transporting Garcia, Boone noticed Garcia dropped a small, white, folded piece of paper which allegedly contained marijuana. Garcia was taken to police headquarters for processing and released pending a mandatory court appearance.

Earlier on Feb. 26, Iossa arrested 28-year-old David Zorrilla of Dover and charged him with allegedly driving under the influence. Zorrilla was initially stopped on   Route 24 for driving 98 mph in a 65-mph zone. Iossa determined that Zorrilla was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to headquarters for processing and released to a friend pending a mandatory court appearance.

On Feb. 23 at 10:49 a.m., Patrolman Chad Rybka arrested Francisco Quintanilla, 48, of Plainfield, N.J. on an outstanding warrant issued by West New York Municipal Court. Rybka stopped Quintanilla for a motor vehicle violation on Madison Avenue, and a computer check revealed the arrest warrant. He was taken to headquarters for processing and released pending a mandatory court appearance. Quintanilla was also issued summonses for failure to maintain a lane and driving without a license.

On Feb. 22 at 6:19 p.m., Patrolman Shannon arrested 22-year-old Thomas A. Fischer of Livingston, N.J. and charged him with alleged possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Shannon initially stopped Fischer for a motor vehicle violation on Main Street after which he determined that he was in possession of narcotics. Fischer was transported to headquarters for processing and released pending a mandatory court appearance. Fischer was also issued a summons for failure to maintain lamps on a vehicle.

The police, , and responded to nine medical emergencies during the week.
