Field Goal Lifts Madison Over Lenape Valley

Devin Koep's first attempt of the season lifts Dodgers in final minutes in battle of unbeatens.

 

Madison beat Lenape Valley 17-15 on Friday in a game that came down to field goal attempts—in Madison's case, its first field goal attempt of the season, according to NJ.com.

Devin Koep scored a 21-yard field goal with four minutes left to give the Dodgers the lead.

With a second left on the clock, Lenape Valley tried for a 34-yard attempt, but was unsuccessful, the report said.

Carson Lassiter and Layton Lassiter scored touchdowns for Madison.

Both teams were undefeated going into the game and Madison extended its win streak to 31.
