This past weekend Madison 119-pound junior Patsy Davis cruised to his second consecutive Morris County Tournament finals appearance as he sealed commanding victories over Parsippany’s Ameen Jafferie, Dylan Mulchay of Chatham and Jefferson’s Pat Healy.
In the finals Davis–who has fashioned an impressive 19-3 record this season—squared off against Delbarton’s Nick Anderson. Despite battling, Davis was unable to find an answer for Anderson, dropping a hard-fought 2-1 decision and finishing the tournament with a team-best second place.

Caroline Brennan is no stranger to leading the Madison swim team, and the senior captain recorded a team-best finish in the Morris County Swimming Championships at Morristown High School.
Brennan, who set a county record in the girls 400-meter freestyle in 2010 with a time of 4:35.20, was back at it again as she turned in a time of finished 4:43.00, good enough for fifth place overall.
Brennan also had a quality finish in the girls 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:15.18, good enough to get her 13th place overall.
