'Project Fundraiser' an Overwhelming Success

  • March 12, 2012

The Central Avenue School "Project Fundraiser" was an overwhelming success in it's first year as the rock cover band The Project -made up of four fathers of CAS students- rocked out for 100 people at the Elks Lodge on Saturday, March 3.

The band performed two plugged in sets as well as an acoustic set, and debuted two new original songs.

In addition to the great music, there were also terrific raffle prizes provided by Miller Center for Esthetic Exellence, School of Rock, Downtown Salon, Rob's Bistro, Madison Clearview Cinemas, The Music Store in Chatham, WDHA and Tons of Toys.

There was also a live auction for a framed photo of Bruce Springsteen by Ron Pownall, the world famous rock photographer.
