Madison Education Foundation's 'Fall Harvest' Adult Gala Rescheduled to Friday, November 30th

The Madison Education Foundation’s (MEF’s) third annual Adult Gala, Fall Harvest, which was postponed from its original date due to Hurricane Sandy, has been rescheduled.  The event will be held on Friday, November 30 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at The Madison Hotel, One Convent Road, Morristown.

“We hope that everyone who has registered will be able to join us for this wonderful evening, and we have re-opened registration to encourage additional people to attend,” says MEF Co-President Mary Schaenen.

The evening will raise funds to support the work of the MEF, whose mission is to award grants that help faculty and staff inspire and challenge Madison public school students.  “Last year, MEF awarded $142,000 to all Madison public schools.  We want to keep that momentum going,” says Schaenen.

Along with a 50/50 raffle and live music by jazz pianist, Jerry Vezza, the evening will showcase a diverse collection of silent auction items, which have been donated by local merchants and families.

Event tickets are priced at $85, which includes all food and beverages, and registration is available online at www.mefnj.org.

Individuals who have previously registered are kindly asked to notify MEF of their availability for the new date by sending an email to Susie Schlicksup at sschlicksup@yahoo.com.
